dbLabCal – highly specialized LIMS application designed for use in bioanalytical laboratories. It stores, manages, calculates and exports data created during the bioanalytical part of preclinical and/or clinical studies.
dbLabCal is very easy to install, configure and to maintain.
dbLabCal does not require tedious configuration work. It does not interfere with existing laboratory or IT infrastructure. Just define the user and instruments and you can manage the data created by your lab instruments immediately.
dbLabCal guarantees data integrity. Raw data – once imported into the LIMS database – cannot be changed or deleted. dbLabCal dynamically controls all user actions with the built-in user management and access control functions . It allows or denies actions depending on the current users role and on the current project, batch and data status. This and the simple user interface results in an extremely secure and robust LIMS application.
Current version is dbLabCal V3 – the result of more than 20 years of development.
Having started with chromatography, dbLabCal V3 imports data from various HPLC-MS/MS, HPLC, and GC-MS/MS instruments. To name a few: Analyst (SCIEX® ), Empower2 (Waters® ), ELAN/Chromera (Perkin Elmer® ICP-MS) and Xcalibur (Finnigan® ). Also numerous immunoassay instruments have been connected to dbLabCal, recently: Softmax Pro, Mesoscale, Magellan, Access2, FACS.
Data import from further bioanalytical instruments is easily possible as long as they export data into an ASCII or Excel file.
dbLabCal fulfils FDA regulatory requirements on electronic data and electronic signatures ( 21 CFR Part 11).
